If you got bored of your usual snacks, or you want to make a twist on your usual yogurt, I can suggest my personal choice for a healthy in-between-meals snack, which is nutritious, very delicious, and easy to make.
It’s called “yogurt with granola and berries”, and it’s exactly what it is, as you just read it 🙂
Usually, I use the following ingredients:
– plain (organic) yogurt
– Jordans organic granola (aka muesli, but lumpier)
– any kind of berries, to my taste
I put 4-5 teaspoons of yogurt into a glass, or cup. I used the Activia yogurt here, but I usually consume Riviera yogurt, which is produced by local Quebec farmers and is certified organic. You can use any kind of yogurt, according to your taste, but aim for the plain ones, in order to get more flavour from the granola and the fruit you put it in.
Then, I top the yogurt with a coat of granola. I then add another 2-3 teaspoons of yogurt and put atop any kind of berries I feel like eating. Here I used blackberries, raspberries and blueberries. You can definitely adjust the toping to the fruit available in your country.
So here’s the final product:
